Key Highlights for Couples

One Subscription Covers Both Partners: One Lovemaxx Pro subscription unlocks full access for the Couple Owner and provides a Sponsored Seat for their partner at no additional cost. Lovemaxx is a habit and wellness tool for couples on iOS 17+, not licensed psychological counseling or medical therapy.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lovemaxx ("we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the Lovemaxx mobile application and website (lovemaxx.app).

By downloading, installing, or accessing Lovemaxx, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the service.

2. System Requirements & Platform Eligibility

Lovemaxx is for iPhone running iOS 17 or later. To use the main features, allow:

  • Microphone and speech recognition, so the app can check that you said "I love you" during a session you start.
  • Permission to limit selected apps, if you want a Love to unlock those apps for 5 minutes.

You must be at least 17 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe or register an account.

3. What Lovemaxx Does

Lovemaxx helps couples turn spoken affection into visible relationship progress and intentional screen time boundaries:

  • Spoken Loves: When you start a listening session and say "I love you", the app checks the phrase on your iPhone and counts a Love.
  • Shared Couple Streak: Each Love is saved to your private couple history. If either partner records at least one Love on a calendar day, the streak continues.
  • Unlock Time: Each Love can optionally unlock 5 minutes of selected blocked apps. That time is real use of those apps. It is not currency, points, or something you can transfer.

4. Couple Structure & The Sponsored Seat

Lovemaxx is built around private two-person relationships:

  • Couple Membership: An account may belong to at most one Couple at any given time. Each Couple consists of exactly one Couple Owner and at most one Sponsored Partner.
  • Single Subscription Benefit: An active Lovemaxx Pro subscription held by the Couple Owner gives the partner on the Sponsored Seat full access at no extra charge.
  • Seat Validity: The Sponsored Partner retains access as long as the Couple Owner's subscription remains active and the partner remains in that Couple.
  • Couple Dissolution: Either member may choose to leave or dissolve a Couple at any time. Dissolving a Couple permanently and irreversibly wipes all shared Love counts, timestamps, and streaks.

5. In-App Purchases, Subscriptions & Renewals

Lovemaxx offers auto-renewing subscriptions ("Lovemaxx Pro") through the Apple App Store:

  • Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
  • Free Trials: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when purchasing a subscription.
  • Refunds: All billing and refund requests are processed directly by Apple in accordance with Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

6. System Permissions & Performance

Lovemaxx needs permissions you choose to grant:

  • Microphone and speech recognition: Needed to detect the phrase while a session is open. Results can vary with background noise, accent, how clearly you speak, and your microphone.
  • App limits: Needed if you want each Love to unlock 5 minutes for apps you selected.

The check happens on your iPhone. Lovemaxx does not promise that every phrase will be recognized in every setting.

7. Wellness & Relationship Disclaimer

Lovemaxx is for entertainment, habit-building, and mindfulness purposes only. It is not intended as marital therapy, psychological counseling, behavioral healthcare, or medical advice. Lovemaxx makes no guarantees regarding relationship longevity, satisfaction, or interpersonal outcomes.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful, harassing, abusive, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application.
  • Automate listening, or misuse invite links or codes, to get around subscription limits.
  • Interfere with the security of the service.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, visual interfaces, mascots (Na and Ni character designs), animations, trademarks, logos, and software code are the intellectual property of Lovemaxx and its licensors. You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the app on your personal iPhone.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LOVEMAXX, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
